Lion Chair further explores the V-shape that has long been a theme in my work, beginning with the Muse Bench in 2008. In this chair the shape is utilized as the seat and back, which seamlessly join and transition at the miter. The shape is both comfortable and structural, requiring no additional bracing to sustain itself or the back leg, 2024.
